When I’m looking for a furniture piece to rehab I always try to see what it can look like. The major thing I think about is paint and colors. “Would this piece look good in blue or should I go with my go to white?” Blue is always a favorite of mine but white is always a safe bet.

I always have to think about how other piece will see the piece and where they may place it. I would love to go with bright bold colors as I love them but most buyers will go prefer a white or neutral color.

My favorite spray paint has recently gone off the shelves at Lowe’s. I literally almost cried when I went to grab some and it was replaced. Well, I decided to give the replacement a try and man, not at all the same.

I was so upset and didn’t know what I would do. I mean I can always do chalk paint but it’s not always as easy to find and takes a little longer to apply.

So today, while at my local Hobby Lobby I decided to check out this bargain store next door. It’s like the paint was calling my name...”Sarah, were in here”. Ha! So I went in and while cruising the isles what do I see..... Valspar spray paint!!! The photo is of what Target sells because I forgot to grab a photo of the paint I found today but you get the idea ;-)

So I bought 30 cans of spray paint today! The best part... they were $1.99 each!! I saved $4 a can! Major win for me today! So stay tuned to see a few finished pieces in my favorite spray paint!!

Do you have a favorite bargain store? What great finds have you come upon?
