My happy place-

There is just something about standing on the sand overlooking the ocean that soothes the soul. Hearing the waves crashing and feeling the breeze from the ocean seems to just send a cleansing feeling over the body.

My favorite place on earth is on the beach and one of my favorite beaches is Oak Island in North Carolina. This beautiful photo was taken this summer on the island and as most evening, no filter is needed when taking photos of the sunsets.

I may have mentioned before that my brother is currently building a few homes on Oak Island and one of them is a home my parents invested in as a spec home. A spec home is a home a builder builds and lists for sale. Custom homes are build for people who have already purchased the lot and have the loan or funds for the build (Just a little construction lingo broken down for you).

When my brother completed the home and the listing agent made it live a few showing came and went with no offer. So as some agents do, the listing agent suggested the home be staged. Staging a vacant home is a good way to help prospective buyers see how the home can look and they can see the vision of it being a home which helps buyers a lot. When the stager gave them the quote for the job we were all in sticker shock. So I suggested they let me stage the home and I did just that!
